Fleet Business Development Manager- Wonder Auto & Tire (NB & NS)

We have 13 locations, over 100 service bays, and the capacity to handle a lot more fleet business than we're doing today. What we don't have yet is the right person to go get it.

This is a field role. You'll be out meeting business owners, fleet managers, and dealerships across NB and NS — building relationships, signing accounts, and making sure those accounts are supported. If you've done something like this before and liked it, read on.

Wonder Auto & Tire is part of Shift Auto Group, which has been operating in the Maritimes since 2015. Fleet is a real growth area for us; the infrastructure is there, the locations are there. We just need someone to go open those doors.

What the job actually looks like

You will be targeting businesses with anywhere from 5 to 100+ vehicles, getting them set up with our shops for maintenance and repairs across both provinces. There's also a dealership side to the role; we do vehicle reconditioning for used car lots, which is a good foot in the door with dealers who are always looking to turn inventory faster.

Once accounts are on board, you'll work with our branch and regional managers to make sure the service follows through. The job doesn't end at the handshake.

Specific things you will be doing

• Prospect and secure fleet accounts across the Maritime Provinces.

• Build and manage long-term relationships with fleet managers, business owners, and government/utility operators.

• Build and manage relationships with both new and used car dealerships as Wonder Auto not only specializes in fleet services but also in used car reconditioning services for auto dealers, saving them both time and money.

• Monitor fleet account performance, ensuring service level agreements and customer expectations are consistently met or exceeded.

• Present service solutions that save clients money and reduce downtime including our proprietary service video updates, health checks and fleet reporting dashboard.

• Negotiate agreements and ensure smooth onboarding with our service teams.

• Coordinate with Regional Managers and Branch Managers across all locations to deliver timely, high-quality service for fleet accounts.

• Represent Wonder Auto & Tire at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote our fleet services.

• Travel regularly to client sites and branches to support service delivery and ensure consistent execution of our fleet programs.

Who we are looking for

Someone with a track record of opening doors and closing deals. You don't need an automotive background, we can teach you what you need to know. What's harder to teach is the ability to walk into a room, build rapport quickly, and earn someone's trust.

You should be comfortable working independently. This isn't a role where someone's going to map out your week for you.
